The Journey

About Danny Elliott — Denver Tattoo Artist

Art has been the through‑line of my life. Long before I became a tattoo artist, I learned that creativity isn’t something you chase — it’s something you allow. It arrives when you make space for it, when you listen closely, when you trust the quiet pull toward what feels true.
Tattooing became the place where that truth took form. Since 2011, I’ve traveled the country and the world, studying the craft, refining my voice, and learning how to translate emotion into imagery. Those years shaped my style —
color realism, pop‑culture realism, graffiti‑inspired effects, dynamic lighting, and contemporary illustrative work — but more importantly, they taught me how to see.

In 2020, I came to Denver. Something about the landscape, the people, the creative pulse of the city felt aligned. By 2023, I opened Flow State Gallery, a private, appointment‑only studio built for presence. Here, the session becomes a conversation. The tattoo becomes a collaboration. The moment becomes part of the art.

My approach is simple:
A tattoo is a story made visible.
A reminder of who you are becoming.

The goal is to help you find that truth and reveal it to the world.

Clients travel from across Denver and the U.S. not just for the artwork, but for the experience — a space where intention matters, where the process is unhurried, and where the final piece feels alive long after the session ends.

If you’re seeking an award‑winning tattoo artist in Denver, or a custom realism tattoo created with depth and meaning, I’d be honored to help bring your story into form.
